Sunday Art Brunch: A Benefit for Regina Langston
Sunday, October 18, 2026, marks the first Sunday Art Brunch at Carolina Arts Café + Studios. This special community fundraiser will benefit 2 Story Studios artist Regina Langston as she recovers from colon cancer. Join us for a solo exhibition celebrating Regina’s work, a fabulous Southern brunch, live music, and warm fellowship. Come together through art, food, and music to celebrate a remarkable local artist and surround her with the support of our creative community.

A Holiday Woodshed Session with Just Ceasar
Close out a festive day in Cayce with a special holiday edition of The Woodshed Sessions, featuring Just Ceasar, on Saturday, December 12, at 7 p.m. at Carolina Arts Café + Studios.
Following the River Arts District Holiday Market and the Cayce-West Columbia Holiday Parade, gather for an intimate evening of holiday spirit, blues music, storytelling, and fellowship. We will also celebrate Jenna Mae’s birthday, making this a joyful night of music, community, and birthday cheer.
Come spend the day in the River Arts District—and end it with the blues!
Afterschool Art Club, M-F 330-630 pm
The Afterschool Art Club turns afternoons into creative studio time where kids can unwind, explore, and grow as young artists. Each afternoon begins with snacks and outdoor time, weather permitting, followed by one hour of small-group guided visual arts instruction and one hour of independent studio work.
Along the way, students learn how a real art studio works—maintaining their own workspace and supplies, managing projects from idea to completion, and developing collaboration, leadership, responsibility, and creative problem-solving skills.
Homeschool Art Lab, W-F 11-2 pm
The Homeschool Art Lab at Carolina Arts Café + Studios combines standards-aligned art education with the freedom, independence, and creative energy of working in a professional art studio. Students receive two hours of guided instruction each week in a curriculum encompassing the four major areas of visual arts education: art making, art history, art criticism, and aesthetics.
The program runs for the full academic year, September 1 through May 31, and is designed to provide the depth and rigor equivalent to one academic visual arts credit. Students have access to the Homeschool Art Lab Wednesday–Friday, 11 AM – 2 PM for guided instruction, plus regular studio hours for independent work, project development, and creative exploration.
Family Karaoke, Sundays
Join us Sundays from 4–7 p.m. for an affordable afternoon of music, laughter, and family fun. Karaoke is completely free—and kids’ coloring is always free!
Order in a pizza, bring the whole family, choose your favorite songs, and make some joyful memories together. No perfect singing required—just come ready to have fun!
Friday Night Art
Carolina Arts Café + Studios stays open late on Fridays for creativity, connection, and a different kind of night out. Gather your friends for girls’ night, plan a creative date night, bring your youth group, or simply come make art with people you love.
Choose a project, order in a pizza, and settle in for an evening of color, conversation, laughter, and creative fun. No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity!
